Level Screen
it's social...
it's networking...
it's accessible...
...and it's where you are
Level Screen is an exiting new way people can get involved in the Level Project - it places the Level Project where you are, giving you access to your own network of users, and to the wider usership of the Level Project. It builds connections with people people miles apart, enabling them to to meet, connect and interact in a virtual space using the Level technology.
It can help you run collaborations, creative projects and develop users communication skills.
Best of all it is easy to use, completely intuitive way of communicating, and it is highly accessible to a wide range of users - a way of communicating that doesn't necessarily rely on words.
It makes a virtual meeting space, where people share the same screen space, promoting communication and creativity.
First Movement developed the Level Screen using an advanced video conferencing technology. It worked with learning disabled people throughout the development of the Level Project, to find the very best ways that they wanted to use this technology. All of their experience and involvement made the Level Screen what it is. It is a meeting place, a social network and can be a forum for active and creative collaborations by people who might otherwise be excluded from new communications technology.
It is a fantastic new opportunity to engage people with complex needs in social interaction and creative work.
For those who want, Level Screen has a creative aspect, as it allows users to connect with First Movement, an arts organisation with over 20 years of experience.
For all users it is a real chance to make themselves heard and known, to promote self advocacy, and open an important new accessible route to participating in digital communications.
First Movement are currently looking to create the partnerships that will deliver a network of Level Screens. Contact First Movement now for more information. Phone First Movement on 01629 734848 or email fmt@first-movement.org.uk
The best way to find out more is to book in a demonstration of the Level Screen at the Level Centre, so you can see what it can do for yourself.
