Arts Projects

Level - (the Live Event Link) is the flagship project of First Movement. It is a way of making creative collaborations between people living many miles apart, who would otherwise never meet.

Using live video and audio links it enables people in different places not only to see and hear each other, but also, through large-scale projection, to enter the same “virtual” space and work together.

The project uses a range of specially developed technologies, all of which can be controlled directly by members of the projects. This project is central to the Level Centre and the Level Mobile Studio. It will promote new creative collaborations taking place across the East Midlands.

In future it offers the opportunities for creating new work that extend into a national and international dimension.
